  IMO this is the best Chinese food in Langley, there is better in Vancouver, however for local it is very good. My only complaint is that the prices have creeped up to the point where we only go 1/3 the time compared to a few years ago. Which means unless they tripled the price, they are losing money from our perspective. If the price was 20% less it would get 5 stars from me and we would go much more often.

  Do not waste your money at this restaurant if you don't eat meat. I ordered two on menu vegetarian items and they were not brought out until the rest of my family got there left overs to leave. The one dish the brought out the wrong dish two times with them insisting thats what I ordered. My family had to chip in and say they witnessed me order and that they heard me clear and correct the first time. The second dish was forgot about. I asked my server twice about it and she would just nod and say " yes yes its on its way". I later asked another server and he advised that it had never been made. The worst part is they charged me in full for both those items which I was unable to eat at the time of family dinner. Empire Garden severely lacks any class in terms of there service. Unfortunately, when I got home the Vegetable Chow Fun ( The dish the brought out completely wrong twice before) was missing the vegetable and was just soggy over cooked rice noodles that had bonded as one and formed into the shape of the to go container. The salt and pepper tofu was missing salt and pepper. Just plan deep fried tofu no seasoning and anything. I seasoned the tofu myself and ate but the $16 Chow Fun was, disappointingly, had to be thrown out.

  Best dimsum in Langley, food is fresh and service is great. Wish the pricing is more friendly. Their deep fried taro is to die for.

  Worst customer service i have ever experienced. Don't eat here if you can't give their expected tip. We ate here 2 days ago for Father's day and when i paid for the bill and gave a $10 tip, the cashier (an old man) nodded his head and just threw the receipt in front of me saying 'that's your receipt!'. I was shocked but didn't say a thing thinking he was just having a rough day since i know how it feels like to work in customer service. But when my aunt asked for fortune cookies, he just answered back 'no' with an angry voice. That's definitely wrong. I was very angry but at the same time didn't want to argue with the old man and make some scene so i just talked to one of the staff who was apologetic as she clearly knew this man's attitude. I hope the management would correct these attitude as we all know that's not good for business. How could you keep a staff with that attitude especially in customer service? I'm still wondering what could've happened if i didn't give any tip. Could he have done worse? We definitely won't eat here anymore. What a terrible experience. If you're not satisfied with the tip, just ask nicely then i would gladly give more than by humiliating your customers
