  • Fort langley, was established in 1827, to stop the Americans from stealing our natural resources (still hasn't worked). The site is to allow you to see how it is to live back in the early 1800's. Visited the site unfortunately it was closed due to no power, how ironic. Site did open in the afternoon and was an enjoyable way to spend the day

    Everything was very interesting. We learnt a ton about how people did things in the olden days. Grounds were neat and tidy, and staff friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing I'd suggest for improvement is providing the animals on site (goats, sheep, chickens and rabbits) with larger pens and a more enriched environment. The goats' enclosure was very small, I thought...
