  So I'll start by saying that I've been going there for years, brought friends and family there and recommended it to everyone. The original location was a smaller family run business, the service took a little while but I never mind waiting for quality and the staff were always super friendly. The food has in the past been some of the best Mexican food that I have eaten and I've been to Mexico several times. Some of the drinks are amazing and they carry some top self tequila that are impossible to find. So with all that said, I just went to the new location for the first time yesterday... it was not the same as the old location... different staff, all around different vibe to the place. I asked our server if we could have a booth instead of a tiny table, rather than saying anything she started slamming stuff around, marched off, wiped down a booth, came back and got us with an unimpressed "over here". They had no bartender on shift so they couldn't make most of the drinks on the menu, there was a guy behind the bar but apparently he wasn't the bartender. The food arrived in about 45 minutes which was pretty typical with the old place so no big deal there... the food however was not what they used to serve. I could tell right away when the chips and salsa hit the table, they used to be home made tortilla chips with home made salsa. Now they are stale tortilla chips with old elpaso salsa. The fondue which was supposed to come with chips and tortillas only came with tortillas and instead of being able to dip anything into it (which is what you do with fondue) the waiter told us to "make small tacos or something" and walked away. There were other issues with the food but I'm already dragging on. I don't know man... I'm giving it a four star review based on the excellent times that I've had there in the past and I'm really hoping that when they get settled in they will get back to what made them great. Might sound mean but they need to unload the staff that don't want to be there, it's bumming out the atmosphere and not helping your reputation.

  This is our first time here after the move. The place is super funny with what's on the walls and all that, but unfortunately that's where the good part ends. Upon getting a table our server who came and got us our round of drinks disappeared for 45 minutes and nobody came to check on us. When he came back we ordered and with only one thing we asked they missed that too. No sour cream and no cheese for a fajita, I Recieved my tamales and they were cold and tasteless. We were very disappointed in the food and service we won't be back. Too bad they spent all the money on decor and not take the time to train servers and cooks how to do their jobs. Also the fajita side dishes( tortilla, tomato and such) were served on a steel jail issued lunch tray.. Funny and not at the same time. We won't be back.

  Food is good and fun atmosphere. Love the new location minus the patio is smaller. Service is always slow so don't go if your in a rush.
